Savitsky and Geraghty Join Markit as ABS specialists

Markit Group has appointed James Savitsky and Thomas Geraghty as directors within its global asset backed securities (ABS) sales and product development teams. Savitsky, who joins from Trepp, will coordinate Markit’s ABS sales effort globally, distributing the firm’s data and analytics services for the structured finance markets. Geraghty, formerly man-aging director at Wall Street Analytics, joins Markit’s North American structured finance product development team.
