Andreas Steiner (34) took over as head of the Austrian branch of SIX Telekurs in Vienna on 1 January 2011. He succeeds Josef Krall (59), who retired from the post after almost 11 years.

Andreas Steiner worked for Reuters as of 2002, most recently in the capacity of lead account manager for Austria and Eastern Europe. His task for the future is to further consolidate the positioning of SIX Telekurs as a financial data supplier in the Austrian market. He will be able to draw on his extensive experience and market contacts. Steiner reports to Michael Frank, managing director of SIX Telekurs Deutschland GmbH. The activities on the Austrian market also fall under the responsibility of this SIX Telekurs’ German subsidiary.

“We are delighted to have gained a qualified specialist for our business area in the person of Andreas Steiner. His experience and contacts are of considerable benefit to our company and will enable SIX Telekurs to continue its highly positive development trend in Austria,” notes Frank, on the appointment.
