MoneyMate, a specialist provider of investment data quality management solutions, today announced the availability of version 1.6 of DataManager, a cloud platform that enables global asset managers to oversee and control the quality, accuracy and timeliness of their client-facing product data. Featured additions to the platform include a new micro-site module and increased functionality around business validation rules and distribution capabilities.

Utilized by some of the largest asset managers globally, including J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Schroders, DataManager centralizes and validates investment product data – giving firms real-time, easy and transparent access to accurate data, which managers can then use for websites, fact sheets, client reports and sales and marketing collateral. Through this solution, buy-side firms are able to automate the manual processes normally associated with investment data management and manage these processes by leveraging MoneyMate’s domain expertise and intelligent workflows.

“As asset managers continue to seek growth and diversification, the automation of investment data management processes will become even more integral,” explains Jason Cooke, VP of Product, at MoneyMate. “At MoneyMate, we invest heavily in research and development. Version 1.6 is a prime example of how we continue to look for ways for asset managers to gain transparency and understand their data clearly, as well as the flexibility to utilize it for a range of functions.”

With the view towards helping asset managers who are challenged with ever increasing product complexity as well as simplifying integration with client and third party data consumers, MoneyMate DataManager version 1.6 introduces a number of important developments for the buy-side industry:

– Micro-site Module: an optional web-reporting layer that allows for advanced micro-site management and offers managers the ability to tailor each individual site to a specific geographic region and target audience, according to style, brand, language, locale, fund ranges and local regulatory data display rules

– Output Modules: configurable output modules that are designed to support data distribution for clients who may need multiple extract configurations or to deliver data on a scheduled or ad hoc basis, via email, FTP or web services as required

– Advanced business intelligent rules engine: the rules engine is highly flexible and is designed to allow for simple and complex rule configuration, with the added capability to create custom rules using a DSL (domain-specific) interpreted language

– Performance and Risk Engine: produces a full range of commonly-used statistics with complete flexibility with regard to base currency, treatment of distributions and options to run in batch or real-time

“We believe the latest enhancements to DataManager are significant and exciting,” commented Mr. Cooke. “While DataManager users have always been sure of the accuracy, security and timeliness of their data, these latest updates allow us to continue to offer our clients unparalleled service, as well as a solution that reduces risk and ensures that accurate and consistent product information can be taken to market in a timely manner.”
