The London division of Mirabaud Asset Management has hired Paul Boughton from Neptune Investment Management and Andrew Blair from Skandia Investment Group to strengthen its UK team.
Both will take up the role of joint sales and marketing director for the group, and the appointments form part of Mirabaud’s initiative to build a strong UK and Continental European business. Both appointments are expected to begin in November.
Commenting on the appointments Giles Morland, Partner, and CEO of Mirabaud UK Limited, said: “We are very pleased to have been able to attract two individuals of such calibre and experience, and I am excited about the opportunity they bring to build a significant presence in the mutual fund business. The group has already been successful in the institutional space which will continue to be a key focus for the group.”
Both will report directly to Mirabaud Partner and head of asset management Lionel Aeschlimann in Geneva; and will be based in the company’s London office on Grosvenor Place.

During his extensive career Paul has been in senior roles at Schroder Investment Management, Legg Mason Global Investments where he was European Managing Director and Neptune Investment Management where he was Head of Continental European Business and Family Office Business.
Andrew Blair profile
Andrew Blair started his career at Friends Provident and subsequently worked for Edinburgh Fund Managers where he was regional sales director. Over the past eight years Andrew has been at Skandia as investment sales manager and then head of UK sales responsible for all distribution.
