Interactive Data Corporation, a provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, today announced that it is delivering a wide range of US bonds data to iPortfolio Solutions.

iPortfolio (formerly MuniWorks) provides portfolio analytics and ancillary information on bonds issued in the US to investment product professionals, advisors and individual investors via a secure website.

Since 2002, Interactive Data has provided iPortfolio Solutions with a wide range of information for US bonds — including corporate, government, agency and municipal securities — through a variety of its data delivery platforms. Recently, Interactive Data began delivering daily evaluated pricing and reference data for preferred securities and mortgage-backed securities to iPortfolio. The addition of this new data to iPortfolio’s offering can enable its clients to analyse mortgage-backed security pass-throughs.

iPortfolio accumulates fixed income market data and reformats it into a readily available portfolio management tool. It also customises cash flow data, credit analysis and maturity schedule reports, which can help its clients make investment decisions and manage risk based on gains/losses and credit changes, which are updated daily. Its customised report format helps clients to more easily understand key fixed income concepts.

“We are pleased to deliver an expansive set of key US bonds data for integration into iPortfolio’s solutions for fixed income portfolio management professionals and individual investors,” said Cort Williams, president, Institutional Sales for Interactive Data. “The combination of our broad range of data, together with iPortfolio’s analytical capabilities and technology platform, creates an advanced solution for investors in these asset categories.”

iPortfolio’s solutions can help meet the analytical and risk management needs of a wide range of clients that manage fixed income portfolios. These include: wirehouses, regional broker-dealers, banks, money managers, individual advisors, and high-net worth clients.

“iPortfolio uses powerful analytics, combined with a user-oriented software platform, to enable informed and real-time decision making and risk management.” said Martin Dickinson, president of iPortfolio. “Incorporating Interactive Data’s wide range of available bond data into our fixed income portfolio management tools can assist our clients in improving their investors’ portfolios and managing their investors’ relationships more efficiently.”
