Information Mosaic, the global provider of post-trade automation solutions, has announced the significant expansion of its US operations to support existing market demand for the automation of post-trade operations. As part of the expansion, the company has made two senior hires in the New York office. The addition of Douglas Jeffrey as president, Americas and Andy Seaman as senior vice president, business development brings over 40 years’ combined experience in the industry to Information Mosaic.

With extensive experience of managing large operations, Douglas will be responsible for managing the US expansion and building a multi-disciplinary team to round out key functions such as support and professional services. He brings over two decades of financial services expertise from within the US banking and financial technology sector, having held management positions for organisations including Merrill Lynch, Interactive Data Corporation, Reuters, Swift, Moneyline Telerate and most recently Netik.

As senior vice president of business development, Andy is responsible for developing and driving new business sales to support Information Mosaic’s offer to multiple sectors. Andy joins Information Mosaic from Broadridge where he held a similar role. Prior to this, Andy held senior sales, business development and consulting roles in the financial technology industry with firms including Reuters, Syntegra, Staffware and Tibco Software.

“This is an exciting time for Information Mosaic in the US and we are making a huge commitment to our operations there. We have a plan in place to grow our team threefold and have all our key functions represented in the New York office,” said John Byrne, CEO, Information Mosaic. “Our strategy has always been to recruit people with great insight into the markets we serve across our entire business, from sales to development. This enables us to work peer-to-peer with our clients at all levels – something that we know our clients value in us. Both Andy and Douglas have strong financial services backgrounds and bring with them invaluable experience and knowledge of the US market. Douglas also brings practical experience of managing large operations. They will be great assets to our expanding team.”

As part of the expansion, Ivar Eilertsen, director of Americas for the past four years, will move into the strategic role of vice chairman, Americas, where he will oversee the company’s growth strategy. Ivar has previously held senior roles with ADP (now Broadridge), Thomson Financial and Bridge, in addition to Executive in Residence at a $20Bn Private Equity Fund.

“Ivar’s leadership at Information Mosaic over the last four years has helped us achieve our impressive growth rate. His new role will allow him to oversee our growth strategy and use his considerable experience to ensure the continued success of the US operations,” John adds.
