Data management software and services provider, 3d innovations (3di), has hired former client Greg Kozar to run its products and services practice in the US and Canada.

Kozar is a market data specialist and consultant who previously worked at Moody’s, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs, among others. He will advise 3di’s clients – across banks, brokerages, investment managers, hedge funds and trading houses – on issues including data governance, maximising use of existing data sources, and more effective data sourcing. He takes over 3di’s operational management for the Americas from co-founder Janelle Veasey, who will continue to run EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

3di CEO Steve Veasey says: “Greg is well-known to us as a previous client. He has been part of the industry’s evolution from the days when market data inventories were first deployed to the current focus on business intelligence and data governance. Greg’s most recent roles and general professional mindset are very much aligned to the company’s culture and direction.”
