In the newly created role, Montgomery will work closely with big xyt CEO Robin Mess and focus on alignment of business strategy with client needs and expanding big xyt’s presence in London.

Before working at Barclays Capital, Montgomery was responsible for establishing a European portfolio and electronic trading desk at Alliance Bernstein. He says: “Having seen the market evolve over a number of years, I’m pleased to join big xyt, a young entrepreneurial company, at a time when there is real demand and value in data and analytics as a service.”

big xyt has clients across exchanges, market makers, sell-side firms and buy-side firms using its analytics products including Liquidity Cockpit, Data as a Service and Analytics as a Service. The addition of Montgomery is expected to accelerate business growth and strengthen the company’s position in the London market.
