Archax Launches Blockchain-Based Post-Trade Infrastructure Subsidiary Montis Digital, with Watkins as CEO, Lester as Chairman

Archax, the first FCA-regulated digital securities exchange, has created a new subsidiary, Montis Digital, to launch a blockchain-based post-trade infrastructure for tokenised assets, such as digital securities and security tokens. Montis will be led by CEO Martin Watkins, previously head of the exchanges and financial markets infrastructure practice at EY, and senior executive at AtosEuronext, Barclays, Cap Gemini and Credit Suisse. Former London Stock Exchange strategy chief and long-time Archax director David Lester will be chairman.
