Ffastfill, a leading provider of hosted solutions to the global derivatives community is strengthening its offering by signing an agreement with connectivity provider, Transaction Network Services.

Through TNS, Ffastfill’s hosted clients can access TNS’ global community and benefit from rapid connectivity to exchanges and sell-side organizations.

TNS will provide connectivity allowing Ffastfill’s hosted clients’ access to multiple brokers and exchanges through TNS’ Secure Trading Extranet (STE). TNS’ Bandwidth Based Services (BBS) are an enhanced capability of the STE and its flexible design provides clients, such as Ffastfill, with committed bandwidth that has customized bursting capabilities and is ideal for fast moving and sometimes unpredictable volumes of trade experienced within many financial markets.

Alan Schwartz, President of TNS’ Financial Services Division said: “Ffastfill is a welcome addition to TNS’ global financial community. Ffastfill has an excellent opportunity to enhance its hosted solution and access the world’s leading exchanges as well as TNS’ derivatives clients. Increasingly, financial market participants, including TNS’ clients, are looking to trade across multiple asset platforms and Ffastfill provides the operating functionality through its portfolio of electronic applications to make this achievable.”

Caroline Davis, Ffastfill’s Head of Trade Execution Services said: “Committed bandwidth from TNS’ STE presents our global client base, with opportunities to expand their reach and engage in high volumes of trade across multiple markets. We were very keen to work with a connectivity provider with such capabilities. Overall, TNS offers a great deal of functionality, flexibility and reliability, for example its three day ‘on net’ service.”

TNS’ Secure Trading Extranet connects over 1,700 financial community end-points, representing buy-side and sell-side institutions, market data and software vendors, exchanges and alternative trading venues, via more than 115 points of presence. TNS provides services in over 60 countries across America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region, with its reach extending to many more.
