Bank Austria Creditanstalt Licenses Fitch Risk’s OpVantage First Database for Operational Risk

Bank Austria Creditanstalt has subscribed to Fitch Risk’s OpVantage financial institutions risk scenario (First) trend database. First contains 4,500 case studies of operational risk loss events. It is aimed to helping financial services firms to determine and manage their exposures. BCCA plans to use First in its self-assessment process for operational risk. Fitch Risk is an independent affiliate of Fitch Ratings, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Fimalac, a Paris-based business services group.
