Ness Technologies Promotes FDE Platform At New York’s FIMA Data Management Event

Ness Technologies took the opportunity of this month’s Financial Information Management (FIMA) conference to promote its Financial Data Enterprise (FDE) reference data management platform.

The platform was developed by Ness Innovative Business Services (Ness IBS), previously known as Innova Solutions, a provider of integration services for investment managers, broker/dealers and third-party administrators.

FDE provides a centralized data hub that allows financial institutions to manage the full gamut of reference data, ranging from market pricing feeds, to client, fund accounting and transaction data. The platform automates the acquisition of reference data, providing a data management facility and a distribution capability for applying the data to downstream applications, including performance attribution, risk analysis, pricing, research, fund accounting and customer servicing and other mission-critical systems.

The FDE platform acts as a transformation and enrichment hub that consolidates all disparate data sources. The system ensures all data is clean, consistent and complete through the use of a dynamic meta-data layer.
Nasdaq-listed Ness Technologies provides a range of technology services, including outsourcing, systems integration, application development and consulting. The company has more than 6,000 employees and operates in 16 countries globally.
