TRG Screen Launches Optimize Insights to Deliver Actionable Insights on Market Data Management

TRG Screen, the enterprise subscription management solutions vendor, has launched Optimize Insights, a suite of customisable dashboards and visualisations, designed to unlock data-driven intelligence and actionable insights into market data spend and usage.

The new offering, which sits at the heart of TRG Screen’s Optimize platform for market data subscription management, launched in 2020, offers an intuitive visual analytics platform for proactive market data management. It also supports other complex, high value enterprise subscriptions, such as research, telecoms, IT and software.

For financial institutions, understanding how and where market data is being used across the enterprise, and by whom, is key to controlling market data costs, a fact highlighted in a recent A-Team report.

“Optimize Insights gives users real analytics and actionable insights, through self-service dashboards, drilldown capabilities and interactive reports,” says Roel Mels, Global Head of Marketing at TRG Screen. “These kinds of business intelligence and data visualisation tools for analysing and managing market data spend and usage are unique in the marketplace, which we believe is a real game changer.”

In addition to providing automated trend analysis around market data costs, Optimize Insights combines underlying data on spend and usage to provide tailored, “do-this-now” insights with calls to action, to maximise results.

The first release includes an Insights Library of pre-defined visualisation dashboards, a Dashboard Studio allowing users to create their own dashboards, and a Pivot Studio giving users the ability to manipulate underlying data with slice-and-dice drag-and-drop analytics.

“We’ve built 50 pre-defined insights and themed dashboards, and we’ll be expanding that library based on feedback and requests that we receive from customers,” says Mels. “Users can directly request new visualisations or dashboards through the Insights Library. And on top of that, they can build their own bespoke visualisations through the Dashboard Studio and Pivot Studio, both of which are very flexible and intuitive.”

Optimize Insights is now live and available to customers of Optimize Spend as part of the base system, with nothing additional to license, securely hosted in the cloud. TRG Screen now plans to continually enhance the product over time, with new features, further datasets and additional insights, says Mels.
